Valerie K. Ferrier, Counsel in Kane Kessler’s Labor and Employment Practice group, has been named as one of Lawline’s Top Women Faculty for 2020. A recognized expert in employment law, Ms. Ferrier has presented highly-rated continuing legal education courses for fellow attorneys through Lawline and other providers. She has discussed topics including religious accommodations in the workplace and understanding the difference between sexual harassment and a non-actionable workplace conflict. While these presentations were for the legal community, Ms. Ferrier also provides training and guidance to clients on these and other topics to help businesses mitigate and manage risk and avoid litigation.
